Below are important steps for applying for financial aid:

1.  File your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) early.  FAFSA is available January 1st for the upcoming academic year. If your file is submitted electronically and correctly, the financial aid office will receive the file from the Department of Education in as little as 3 days.  Please click here to access the FAFSA website.

2.  Make sure your current address is on file with Henderson’s Registrar office.  All requests for documentation will be sent to that address.

3.  Submit all additional paperwork required by the Financial Aid office early. 

4.  Apply for your loan immediately after you register in at least half-time enrollment (6 hours).

5.  If you are a first-time borrower at Henderson, complete the Entrance Counseling session immediately.
