Incoming Freshmen

Admission requirements

Freshman applicants must have an ACT Composite score of 17 and rank in the upper half of their graduating class or have an ACT Composite score of 18.  Please check with the Admissions office regarding provisional admission.

 

Students who do not meet the above mentioned ACT requirements may be admitted if they graduate in the upper half of their high school class and complete the college preparatory course of study.  Henderson will accept recalculated ACT composite scores for admission only.

Below is a list of items that need to be submitted in order to gain admission at Henderson:

 

1. Henderson Application.
2. ACT scores from the American College Testing Service.  SAT accepted.  Students age 21 or over not having attended high school for three years or more may take the ASSET or COMPASS at Henderson for admission purposes.
3. An official high school transcript, G.E.D. certificate, or home schooled transcript.
4. An Arkansas Certification of Immunization.
