Friendly, Helpful Atmosphere |

Even before I was a student, the Henderson family helped me a great deal to prepare for college. Now that I am a part of Henderson, I continue to receive help and encouragement daily. When I first arrived at Henderson, there were students and staff members helping me and my family move into the dorm. Upper classmen always were so helpful in finding classes and answering questions. The instructors were and still are so willing to spend extra time whenever I need it. I honestly feel like we are all part of a team here and everyone wants everyone else to succeed. |

Another reason why I love this place: the social life. There is always something to keep the students active, whether it's getting involved in some of the dozens of clubs and organizations or joining a performing group such as the Henderson Concert Choir. In addition to that, Henderson has a wonderful Greek life. The array of Greek organizations all display, not only the best of their individual organizations, but the best of Henderson. I am the All Greek Council President and a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. |
