When considering options for pursuing my undergraduate degree, I considered many different schools in several different states.  There were a lot of variables that affected my decision, but my final choice of Henderson was heavily weighted by my family, the price of college in general, and the overall atmosphere that Henderson provides.  I am a junior student from Sheridan, Arkansas.  I have three sisters and one brother, so when I considered college, I wanted to stay relatively close to that support.  Also, with such a large family, the budget was always small.  I had to think about the strain that college would be on my parents’ and my financial situation.  Henderson has helped to alleviate that strain by offering grants, scholarships, and student loans.
