Counseling Center
The University Counseling Center has been established to aid students in becoming maximally effective as students and as persons. The responsibility of the counselors is to help students to clarify problems or difficulties, to gain an understanding of their cause or causes, and to plan appropriate action toward their resolution. The counseling service is a voluntary, confidential resource for students who want and need objective professional help in talking through problems and concerns which may well affect academic performance or personal satisfaction. There is no cost to the student.
In addition to individual counseling, the counseling center provides vocational and educational information, materials, and the opportunity for participating in diagnostic testing and a variety of group experiences.
