Writing Across the Curriculum Requirements
Henderson State University requires each student to take a minimum of two (2) 3000- or 4000-level Writing Across the Curriculum courses, one of which must be taken within the department of the student's major, and pass with a grade of C or better. WAC courses will be identified on the transcript by (WI). It will be the responsibility of the chair/director/supervisor (the person who signs the major students' applications for graduation) of each area and the registrar to "certify" that a student has met the upper-level WAC requirements.
